Q. Hi Birdie. Thank’s for coming back.
Birdie: You can thank Sharon for letting me come back. (She grins wide. I’m chomping at the bit to tell my story.
Q. Can you describe the setting of the story and what it means to you?
Birdie: I’ll share this picture we found on the web last night. It looks a lot like the very first Alexander greenhouse.
Q. This almost makes you think of a church, doesn’t it?
Birdie: I do feel peaceful and close to God here.
Q. What is your relationship to the other characters in the story? Do you have a sidekick?
Birdie: I’ll introduce you to Miss. Chloe. She loves me unconditionally.Q. Tiny little thing isn't she?

Birdie: She fit in the palm of one hand when I first found her. Now look at her. She's huge.
Q. She looks pretty pleased with herself. So how old is she in the second picture?
Birdie: Five months old. And she probably isn't full grown yet.
Q. What about the other characters? We talked about your dad and your friend Sara last time. Anything else you can share with us?
Birdie: Just one. Sigh. Here’s my competition.
Q. Some man? Is he spying on you?
Birdie: It's Jason. One of the twins. And he’s not even interested in the business!!!!
Q. So how is he your competition?
Birdie: In my dad's eyes. We talked about this last time. (She looks at her watch.) Oh, look at the time. I've got to run.
